TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)              

                                                                                   

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program and licensed by the NC Board of Nursing.  Experience in pediatrics.  Must assist children with medical procedures during the school day, including tracheostomy care.

REPORTS TO: Health Services Director or Health Services Lead Nurse                                         

JOB GOAL: To monitor status and provide and/or assist with medical procedures for a student that requires constant medical supervision and care during the school day as required by the Plan of Care.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
